From The Pastor's Desk
These are truly exciting times here at Eskridge Grove as we "press towards the mark of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." God is blessing us with more opportunities each day. I implore you church to "let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." (Galatians 6:9-10)
I believe that God is asking all of us to fully commit in spreading the "good news" of Jesus Christ in our church, community, and throughout the world. God is opening doors for us to make differences in the lives of people and we cannot let these opportunities pass us by.
In spite of all the difficulties that we face, the question has been asked and answered "What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?" (Romans 8:31)
As God guides us into the future, let our faith not waver--knowing that God is aware of every step we make! We know these things because "we walk by faith, not by sight." (2 Corinthians 5:7)
Be Blessed,
Strickland Maddox
